Full Bathroom Rough-In to Fit-Off | Melbourne
By Housecare Plumbing
A full bathroom plumbing rough-in and fit-off, start to finish. New toilet branch, all water lines run through the frame, and every fixture installed — finished off with a clean, modern white marble-look tile job.
The Problem
Brand new bathroom layout meant a brand new plumbing run from scratch — no existing pipework to tie into for the toilet, and every supply line needed to be measured and installed fresh through the wall frame before the walls went up.
What We Did
- Cut into the external wall to open a new branch line for the toilet connection
- Measured and ran new PEX water lines through the wall frame for the shower, vanity, and toilet
- Drilled and positioned pipework for the vanity unit
- Installed the shower fittings, toilet, and vanity once the rough-in was signed off
- Coordinated timing with the tiler for a clean fit-off
Why Rough-In Matters More Than People Think
The rough-in stage is the part nobody sees once the tiles go up — but it’s the part that determines whether everything works properly for the next 20+ years. Get the pipe runs wrong, or rush the measurements, and you’re chasing leaks behind tiles down the track. Getting it right the first time means no surprises later.

Whether it’s a full rough-in for a new build or a renovation, we handle the plumbing from frame to final fit-off — and coordinate with your builder and tiler so there are no delays.
